The Taylors Falls Community Solar Garden will be hosted on the property of the City of Taylors Falls, Minnesota. It will provide electricity to power the city, its residents, and its businesses. This project will be part of Xcel Energy’s Solar Rewards Community program, which allows Xcel Energy customers to receive on bill credits to offset their electric bill for solar electricity generated.
The Wilmington Community Solar Garden is currently soliciting community interest in the project from residents and small business in and around Wilmington, Illinois. Participants in the project will be able to own solar panels located in a central solar array at a city facility and earn credit on their electric bill for the electricity generated.
